heyyy gs. sorry i didn't post monday! i had a really busy day and i didn't get done with all my classes and dinner and stuff until 9 pm and i still had a ton of homework to do and in the end i just forgot.
wow the first spider-man movie is on netflix!!! too bad it's just that one though and not even the other two of the trilogy or tasm.
wow i had like never heard of jamie foxx before or seen him in anything but now there are two things i want to see him in! idk if the new annie movie is going to be good or not but i think it is nice actually that they are modernizing it and not just doing an exact copy of the original. haha i have it's a hard knock life stuck in my head now though.

this week has gone by really fast actually. wow and only one more day with only 2 classes until my spring break!!!!

game 1: "save the cheerleader, save the world"
summary: to save the "world," you need to first save the cheerleader.
goal: get the cheerleader ball and the world ball at the same time, as the hero.
how to play: this is a two person, or two team game. one person, or team, starts as "the hero(es)" and the other person or team starts as "the villains." the hero starts with the cheerleader and the villain stands between the hero and the world. they make snappy conversation, for example:
villain: "this is usually the part where people start screaming."
hero: "didn't take."
villain: "we'll see about that..."
then, villain attacks the hero by trying to tag him/her. if tagged, the hero becomes the villain and vice versa. upon becoming a villain, the hero must drop the cheerleader, and cannot tag the new hero before s/he has picked up the cheerleader. once the hero has "saved" the cheerleader, they can "save" the world by picking it up.
after the cheerleader and the world have both been saved, the hero throws both into the air and both players try to catch them. catching the cheerleader scores you 1 point, catching the world scores you 2. first player/team with 10 points wins.
what you need:
2 players or 2 teams
1 basketball for the cheerleader
1 smaller ball for the world
variations:
use balloons instead of balls
play on roller skates
villain can win by "destroying" the cheerleader and the world
use costumes!
game 2: catalyst tag
summary: get as many abilities as you can by getting the catalyst and using the formula.
goal: have the catalyst as you touch the formula to gain more abilities.
how to play: two players play on roller skates, although you could try it without. designate two spots at opposite ends of playing area. one player starts with the catalyst on one spot and the other player tags them, saying "i'll take the catalyst" and skates/runs toward other spot, trying to get there without being tagged. if the other player tags him/her then they have the catalyst and they are eligible to get the formula. the first player to touch the formula with the catalyst, earns him/herself a new ability, given to them by the other player. abilities start with level 1, then work up. (see chart) then the game starts again, and abilities can be used(by shouting out power) to slow the other player down. (see list of abilities)
sometimes, twists can be made in the game, for example, arthur petrelli coming to take ALL your powers-get across the playing space in 10 seconds. or, for some reason the two players must battle for basically no good reason. or perhaps, agents have infiltrated the lab and both players must work together to defeat them. or maybe, something has gone wrong with the formula, and your powers are malfunctioning-both players must designate a spot across the the space to get to, while feeling the effects of their faulty powers.
what you need:
two players (you can try with more)
roller skates for both players (optional)
a large playing space
possibly something to write down what abilities you have collected
abilities:
pts emission
shielding: opposing player cannot hit you with solid objects (example: rock, painting supplies, syringe)
power blocking: choose one ability of the opposing player to block for 1 round.
force field projection: stops elemental powers (example: ice, fire, rock)
impenetrable skin: opposing player cannot directly hit with power
rapid cell regeneration: cannot be affected by certain abilities (electricity manipulation, pyrokinesis, cyrokinesis, microwave emission, induced radioactivity)
enhanced strength: not much
acid secretion: it really hurts when you touch the opposing player
microwave emission: ouch
terrakinesis: player is blasted to the side (by little earthquakes)
pyrokinesis: hurts! (cancelled out by cyrokinesis)
cyrokinesis: coooooold! (cancelled out by pyrokinesis)
telekinesis: opposing player can be blasted in any direction
electrical manipulation: this one is really painful.
induced radioactivity: KABOOM!
wall crawling: got to focus on my job cause i got a new job climbing the walls!
teleportation: opposing player stops (or slows) while you move a few feet
space-time manipulation: same thing as teleportation, but can be used twice per round
flight: move at full speed as the other player slows (cancelled out by enhanced speed)
enhanced speed: move at full speed as the other player slows (cancelled out by flight)
precognitive dreaming: take a nap before round starts and predict first move of opponent, which must take place
precognition expressed through art: mime painting a pic that predicts first move of opponent, which must take place
persuasion: tell the other player exactly what to do (only works for first move and must be spoken before round starts)
illusion: cast an illusion that the opposing player must "believe" but only for a few seconds
puppet master: can control other player for a few seconds (cancelled out by telepathy)
telepathy: take control of opposing player for a few seconds (cancelled out by puppet master)
underwater: good luck making use of this one
lung adaption: unless you're playing underwater, or in space, nothing.
talk to animals: see any woodland creatures around?
plant manipulation: get 'em audry II!
technopathy: TECHNOPATHY!
healing: recover from TECHNOPATHY!
luminescence: opposing player must close eyes for a few seconds, if in behind
cloning: opposing player must tag twice to take the catalyst
