happy holidays from para

Hey gs!

So am I the only one who plans to actually finish this bad boy?

Top 10 best holiday themed

10. Arnold's Christmas (Hey Arnold)
"What you did, that's the real meaning of Christmas, man."
Well, everyone loves a good Christmas special about the Vietnam War! And those snow boots are boss!

9. Blitzgiving (How I Met Your Mother)
"I think the smaller turkey just tried to crawl further inside the bigger turkey."
This is a very funny episode with a few touching moments. And Jorge Garcia guest starring as The Blitz is hilarious.

8. Elf
"Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"
Well, this is one of my favorite Christmas movies because...well I don't like a lot of Christmas movies but this one is pretty funny and it has a really good feel to it and it would make a great J2 au.

7.  Thanksgiving (Heroes)
"You have raised the evil incarnate bar to an entirely new level. Thank you for giving me something to strive for."
Ah, I love this episode. It's definitely one of the best of season 4.  I think it's a very strong episode because it has three distinct but also related story lines, the carnival one being the least interesting, but at least relevant.  And I just love Sylar in this episode. He eats their whole pie single-handedly!  You just can't beat that!

6. 'Twas the Night

"What if...we...pick up the gauntlet? And selflessly fulfill Santa's miraculous mission ourselves?"
Definitely one of the very best Disney Channel original movies.  Wow I could really go for watching this.  Except not really because it's July.

5. The Fright Before Christmas (Danny Phantom)
"We're not talking in rhyme...? WE'RE NOT TALKING IN RHYME!!!"
Oh yeah. This episode is so great because of how deliciously angsty it is.  It's like the most angsty Christmas episode ever.  Plus the ghosts' truce is so sweet and it has one of the most beloved one-episode villains ever.

4. A Rugrats Passover (Rugrats)
"Don't close the...door."
Hmm there are (comparatively) a lot of Nickelodeon episodes on here... I don't know why.  But I love this episode. It's even educational!  And it's definitely the best Passover themed episode out there!!!

3. Halloweentown 2: Kalabar's Revenge
"Grandma says being normal is vastly overrated."
Yes siree.  Halloweentown was good...but in Halloweentown 2 Kalabar get's revenge!! Actually, he doesn't.  His son attempts to get revenge and then fails... But that's not the point. This is the best Halloween movie ever. In fact, I remember being seriously freaked out as a kid by the scene where everyone at the Halloween party turns into monsters.  But this was like my favorite movie ever for a while and Hob and I went around quoting it all the time. It's exciting, funny, and is sure to get you in a Halloween mood!

2. (Actually I just realized I accidentally only have  9 and it's too late to go back, so...)

1. A Very Supernatural Christmas (Supernatural)

"I can't just sit around, drinking eggnog, pretending everything's okay, when I know next Christmas you'll be dead. I just can't."
Not only is the the best Christmas episode of all time, it's one of the best Supernatural episodes of all time.  And it's also super angsty! And super emotional! And Dean's amulet!!! And wee!chesters!  And brotherly love and aaaaaah episode is so great.  It also features hilarious moments, Sam and Dean singing and being these little guys, Sam and Dean tied up, Sam and Dean in pain, a creepy scene with some guy being dragged up the chimney and more!
In conclusion, the best holiday themed works of fiction should:
1. get you in the holiday mood
and possibly
2. include huge amounts of angst
