Glorious

This has been an amazing weekend! On Friday I went to the most amazing concert ever...MUSE!!! IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF MY LIFE! I THINK I DIED A LITTLE INSIDE BECAUSE I WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE ANYTHING AS AWESOME! And then on Saturday I had a winter drums contest and we qualified for state finals next weekend! And now it is Saturday night and I'm going to watch a ton of Doctor Who episodes and stay up late! Ahh this weekend just can't get any better!

The Muse concert was so awesome and I am probably going to like talk a ton about it! First when we got there, Silversun Pickups played and they were good though they were just the opening act so it was short and the crowd mostly just sat there like dumb zombies during the entire thing. I heard that someone in the seated area tried to stand up and enjoy it and then the people behind them got mad and called security and security told them to sit down or they would escorted out. D: That is just so mean! But inbd, that didn't happen near me and anyways the main reason I was at the concert was for MUSE! When Muse came on pretty much everyone stood up and was all pumped for Muse! Haha my dad was motioning for me and CM and my friend John to sit down but then everyone else in our section stood up too, and most of them stood up for the whole concert.

We didn't have the best seats but we had an amazing view of the whole stage and could see all the lasers, lights. 50 feet tall LCD-screen towers and every thing else perfectly. We were in section 209 and it was like dead center so that was nice. The visuals were fantastic! There were insane green lasers going everywhere during New Born. During Plug in Baby there were giant eyeball balloons that went everywhere. Haha during the next song one of the balloons didn't pop and it floated onto the stage and Chris kicked it out of the way and then it went over to Matt and he pushed it out of the way and it went to the back and almost landed on Dom's head! lol.

Some of the highlights of the gig for me were:

*Plug In Baby: It had giant eyeball balloons, Matt doing like 5 guitar spins in a row, he let the stadium sing part of the chorus and you could hear like the whole stadium singing, and he did a slide onto his knees at the end and played a guitar solo laying on his back.

*New Born: It had absolutely amazing lasers light show and it just looked so awesome!. The guitar solo in it was really awesome and there was an awesome heavy riff at the end.. Plus that is one of my favorite Muse songs ever and it was so cool to hear it live!

*Starlight: It was epic how many people were doing the right clap to the song.

*Knights of Cydonia: A fantastic closer of the gig. It was so amazingly epic! Especially the NO ONE'S GOING TO TAKE ME ALIVE! part where the lyrics flashed up on the screen and everyone sang along.

And then after the concert my dad was sooooo nice and bought me this $75 Muse hoodie!!!!!!
